Privacy

What we collect

Anonymous shares: the files you upload, your IP address (for rate limiting), and basic request metadata. Logged-in shares: additionally your GitHub user ID and username, which we get from GitHub OAuth. We never see your GitHub password, and we request only the minimal read-only profile scope.

What we do with it

We store your uploaded files so we can serve them at your share URL, and we delete them automatically when the share expires or when you delete it. We use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage (uploads per day, tier distribution). We do not sell data, run ads, or share your content with third parties except the infrastructure providers below.

Where it lives

Files and metadata are stored on Cloudflare (Workers, R2, KV). If you subscribe to Pro, billing runs through our payment provider; we store your subscription status, not your card details.

Your shares are public URLs

Anyone with a share link can open it unless you password-protect it (Pro). Don't upload secrets. Expired shares return 410 and their files are deleted by scheduled cleanup.

Deletion

Delete a share anytime with the CLI. Deleting removes the files and metadata immediately. To delete your account data entirely, email hi@plani.sh.
